Character Basics
Name:Chamare Bolen
Nickname(s): ‘Bolen’ or ‘Snakes’ or ‘Badger’
Age:16
Gender: Female
Sexuality:
Bisexual
Asexual
Race: Demon
Year: 2nd Year
Job: Co-manager at Theatre
Character Appearance
Hair Color:Reddish-copper
Eye Color:Hazel
Height:5’6
Build:Fairly skinny, but she has muscle tone, adding about 10% of her overall weight(135 lbs.)
Unique Traits:
Chamare only one badger ear, which is her left side. She's not entirely sure why she only has one animal ear, but it is what it is. And that is only one. ^^
Clothing Preference:
Chamare isn't the picky type when it comes to clothing brands or what she wears. She just picks things out according to how it looks on her. Most her clothes contain things in a wide array of colors. Orange, red, green, blue, pink, black, white or silver. You name it, it's most likely in her wardrobe.
She likes to show her body off. She's not shy about herself or what she has to flaunt. This means she usually wears clothing that shows excessive skin, but not overly exposing herself at the same time. She's big on the saying of 'No Pain, no gain'. But with this said, this doesn't make her all about showing off.
When she's in a mood, then you can uaually guess by her clothing. If she feels cruddy, sad or angry, she wears just plain clothing, like sweats and an undershirt. She wears a bit of make-up as well. Eyeliner, mascara, foundation, eyeshadow and lipstick, but it looks natural on her, not like some girls whose face looks like it was painted on.
She has several things she is always seen wearing. Two belts, one appearing to be from Egypt(Being of gold with stones set in the center) and a leather studded black belt. She also wears a chain around her neck that hangs loosely around her neck, and several plain silver bracelets.
Description:
Chamare is the type who isn't afraid to distort her body with tattoos and peircings, which would explain why she has several of both. Her lip is double-peirced (Snakebites), both eyebrows are pierced, her ears are lined with several, her nose is pierced and finally she also has a monroe.
As for tattoos, she has angel wings tangled in barbedwire the length of her back, a large, distorted C on her neck. Her arms are tattooed with snakes that twist the length of her entire arms and end with their heads upon the back of each hand. On the meat of her thumb is a small coiling dragon.
Her one animal ear is round like a bear's ear and is a furry white. Chamare's hair is dreaded and falls close to her sharp shoulders. A small red bow is placed just below her animal ear. Her eyes are a deep, pleasant hue of hazel, surrounded by high cheekbones and a soft, rounded chin. Her eyesbrows are thin and arch nicely, framing her large eyes.
Character Depth
Personality:
Chamare is a pretty confusable character. She's moody, annoying and funny, rather depending on the mood she is in and who you happen to be. With that said, you could just guess that she's a snooty brat. And for the most part, she is. But she's an extreme loyalist to friends. You ask for money, she gives it, you ask for a ride home, she is the first to offer. She loves to give and make friends happy.
But at home, it's a whole new story. She hates her parents and mainly locks herself up in her room. She has no respect for her family or anyone who says they have the authority to control her. She has many fears and peeves that come with growing up in the shadow of your over-acheiving older sister and beign told daily tthat if she were only half as good as her sister, she might actually be loved.
She's unstable when it comes to emotions. She's always appearing to be happy, putting up a front. But when it comes down to it, she cries often and sulks in a bit of self-pity. She feels extremely unloved, even with the many friends she has, or thinks she has.
She gets angry often if someone tries to take advantage of her, but has a good anger control system. She merely locks it away, but in the long run, makes her feel empty and shallow. Her friends compare her to the snake off 'Jungle Book' because she has so many emotions that if one were to just look into her eyes would get frightened.
Her eyes are the trigger of releasing most of her anger, and so she avoids eyes contact as much as she can. This is one of her larger faults, because if someone were to make eye contact, Chamare will often blow up and do something regrettable.
Likes:
Animals(Mainly cats), reading, and writing, singing and playing different instruments.
Dislikes:
Bugs,

couples
and Birds.
Strengths:
She’s a very fit girl for her age and can take a lot of pain compared to some others and doesn’t tire out as quickly.
Weaknesses:
She is partially blind in both eyes and has trouble seeing some things far away.
Quirks:
Bits her bottom lip and swipes her tongue across the inside of her lower lip occassionally.
Left eye twitches often, especially when angered, annoyed or frightened.
Hobbies:
Volunteering at the Animal Shelter, cooking, reading and writing, and listening to music.
Fears:
Needles, Clowns and puppets.

Her ability deals directly with sound and electrical waves. She can emit high frequencies from her mouth, frequencies far higher then any human can hear. These waves will then interfere with electrical things near by, such as computers, TV's and the sprinkler system in the shcool building(That last one she's done quite often)
To make these waves she has but to barely part her lips and focus intently upon the air and the electricity around her, then match a frequency. All this in just a fraction of a second.

At age 15, just before the gang disbanded, they had a fued with a rivalling gang and had a throwout in a vacant parking lot late one night. During this, Chamare came face to face with the boy who shot her and bean to beat him into unconsciousness. The fight ended as the cops began to show up and Chamare had to hot-wire the kids car and took off, only to be run into an alley and arrested.
Chamare has been to juvenile several times in her teen years, mainly for beating the crap out of someone on the streets, or not obeying a teacher or school staff. No one can really say why she does this, but many say she blacks out and acts without conscious. But nothing has ever been proven against her mental stability.
She grew up in an old apartment in the city until her step-father got a raise and they moved to a quaint house in the suburbs. She has been from school to school after being expelled from a lot of them.

Role-play Example: My kind had always been under severe threat from those who are not one of us. They quarantine our houses and lock us up in compounds where we begin to go savage, like our kin. We fear the threat comes from outside, but we fail to see the real threat from within the pack. Our ranks are faltering and we can no longer stay civil. Our wills are breaking and we can’t survive this much longer.
It’s our second week within the confines of these walls. Our families have already begun to destroy each other. I see friends fall under the flash of teeth, but the mortals, they don’t stop this savagery, they merely look on and observe, humans fighting humans. But they don’t see us for what we really are. Lupe Garu, werewolves.
A month and we’re still here. My parents died a few days back, challenged for their rank of dominance. But what does dominance matter when we are all caged like frightened animals? We have to get out. I’ve been planning how to get out of here when I find time alone.
It’s risky getting past the humans. They feed us only three times a week, but when they come in, they are intent and focused upon those who first approach them. So much so, that if I wait, I may be able to slip behind them and out the door. After that, I have to go upon instinct.
This is the day I’m going to try and escape. I wish I could take all my friends, but it is too dangerous. Perhaps they will take my example and wise up, think of getting out. This is goodbye, for I must not attempt taking you with me. Farewell.
The diary flipped close and the red-headed teen set down the pencil with a sigh. She was gaunt and her form showed her ribs and hip-bones very predominantly. Her frail gaze flickered to the door as it creaked open and several humans stepped inside.
She stood and sidled her way along the wall and closer to the door, but without gaining attention from the humans who were yelling at more eager of her kind. She gulped and waited until they were placing down the food and dashed quietly out the door.
She made her way down several halls. Once or twice she had to take refuge in shadow to avoid detection from guards. Her gaze roved around the corner and into a long hallway. At the end a faint light shone through a set of double metal doors.
She took a cautious glance around before making a desperate dash for the exit. She burst through the doors and made across the large span of ground towards the wire gates. Without much effort she took a mad leap and cleared it just barely before she scurried into the safety of the forest.
