Behind the large building that was Hidamari University two boys stood next to each other. One held a black backpack that was partially slung over his shoulder, he had short cut blonde hair and bright green eyes that were filled with tension and nerviousness. This could be seen by anyone who was looking at him, his hands were shaking slightly. This boy was Hatosuke Chouza, an eight grader that attended Hidamari chugakkou. Chouza turned and looked at the older boy on his right, and nervously whispered "Hey, Jack are you sure we won't get caught doing this?" [NPC Hatosuke Chouza created] The older boy, Jack Shepard rolled his eyes and let out a loud breath that made Chouza spin around nervously, in case anyone had heard him. "Dude, trust me on this, we're not going to get caught" Jack said, his tone was confident and held a bit of annoyance in them. "Now hurry up and get the stuff out of your backpack" those words were a command however, and Chouza quickly unzipped his backpack and pulled a few cans of spray paint out. Jack grinned at the sight of the cans, he grabbed one of the cans and shook it a little, then took off the cap. Chouza grabbed a can as well, although his hands were shaking so he didn't even need to shake the can around first. Jack pressed down on the valve and shot out a thin stream of red paint towards the wall. Chouza slowly took off his cap, he wasn't even sure how he got convinced to do this. Jack was already halfway through messing up his part of the wall, he was drawing a large red Anarchy symbol on the wall. He shot a glance at Chouza, who was still too nervous to spray paint the wall, but then again, Jack had never planned for him to. Jack shot a glance at the clock that was on the back of the school, time to out his little plot into action. "Hey, Chouza hold onto this for me, I'm going to the bathroom Jack said an threw his can of spraypaint at Chouza, who just managed to catch it. Jack then walked off and out of the area, as if it looked like he was heading for the bathroom. Jack turned the corner and then stopped, he leaned against the wall and looked up at the clock. 5, 4, 3, 2 Jack thought to himself, he was a second off though. Because at 2 Jack heard someone yell "CHOUZA!" and knew his plan had worked. Every morning Mrs. Tanikawa, one of the english teachers would go in from the back in order to reach her classroom faster, and he decided to have a little fun with that. Jack heard Chouza try and stumble out an exuse, but was caught off by Mrs. Tanikawa yelling at him and taking him to the principles office. Once he heard the Click and knew the back door had closed and both people where gone, Jack walked back out and looked at the bright red A and smiled, it was a nice way to start of the day.

The teen let out an agonized groan as she left the house, adorned in her conservative uniform. Kyan held her bag over her shoulder, glancing at the watch on her wrist as she walked. Ah, she was late. Perhaps she should take a shortcut...though that would be rather annoying. Still, she did not want to be late. That would be annoy the lass to no end.
So she walked through the University's campus, a sure way to get to the high school quicker. On her way through, however, Akita heard some sort of ruckus. She stopped, watching as a teacher ushered a young boy through the doorway. Blinking, she tilted her head to the side and directed her sharp gaze to the graffiti on the wall. Odd, it looks a little high for the boy... She thought, tilting her head to the side. Then her answer came out.
Another boy, much older than the first, stepped around the corner and took a moment to admire is work. Well, he certainly did look pleased with himself. The lass cleared her throat to be sure her presence was made known and appraised the boy with a calm expression.
"That..." The young woman began, an amused smile appearing on her features. "...was rather pointless."

"That...was rather pointless."
Jack heard the voice of another behind him. Obviously it was a girl by the pitch of the voice, she obviously wasn't trying to be quiet, so Jack was pretty sure that there wasn't anyone else around, but you could never be too sure with women. Men, they were easy to judge and figure out who they were, but women were more unpredictable, they often changed their minds at random. It was actually quite annoying, but Jack had found many ways around that. The boy turned around to face the onlooker, and yes, it was in fact a girl. By her voice Jack would've said she was annoyed, but he noticed the small smiled forming on the side of her face, and knew she wasn't that angry about it.
Now to respond, Jack already had an answer to her comment, actually he had several, but obviously he could only say one. Jack moved his shoulders up and shrugged, moving his hands apart slowly. "So?" Jack asked, the question was more rhetorical than anything, after all Jack was pretty sure what this girl was going to say.

If there was one thing that both amused and annoyed him at the same time, it was the uniform Hidamari Upper Secondary forced their students to wear. With its dark red-orange color against his vivid red hair, Zou realized how badly it clashed, and yet...how well he blended sometimes. A conundrum he didn't care to really think about; and he waved his hand in the air, brushing his thoughts away. His free hand was shoved into his pocket as he walked almost mindlessly, boring brown shoes dragging across the ground. In his mouth, he snapped a piece of green chewing gum continually, jaw muscles working tirelessly at the treat. Fujiwara Elle was anything but a morning person, though he tended to maintain the same deadpan look no matter what time of day it was. School would be starting at...some point. He didn't have a watch and he didn't want to bother himself with checking. The teen, obviously, wasn't actually paying attention to anything around him, so by the time he looked up and concentrated on surroundings, he realized he was closer to the university than he was to his actual school.
Which was strange because uni was...on the...other side...of the city...well, it still seemed early enough that he wouldn't have to rush—not that Zou was the rushing type. A low wall was in front of him, leading the way to the back of the university—the boy, being bored, placed a hand on it and jumped over it with ease, one hand still shoved in his pockets. He fumbled his landing just a bit, but no one was around to see it...not that he would have cared. Still chewing on his gum, the redhead shuffled his feet against the pavement as Zou made his way to the back of Hidamari University, no true plan in mind—he was just wandering. He'd only take a step around the corner of the building when two voices caught his ear—but Zou kept his gazed focused on the ground, not even looking up as he kept walking.
One was female, probably around his age, and other a fellow male, perhaps a year younger. The femme mentioned how...something was pointless, whatever it was, and the boy responded with a rather cocky-sounding "So?" Not actually caring to get involved but having nothing better to do, the red-haired teen slowly came to a stop, reaching into his mouth and pulling out his gum before sticking it behind his right ear swiftly. One thing his parents had pounded into him after his gum habits had started was never to talk when chewing. If he said nothing, it was fine, but something told him he'd end up joining in on this conversation, whether by his choice or not. This time around, it wouldn't be his choice. He stood a distance away from the two strangers, both hands in his pockets now and gaze raised only slightly—to about the base of the wall. And there he stood, a silent...almost on-looker.

The boy took his time to reply. She vaguely wondered if he'd even bother to reply. In the meantime her gaze lazily wandered to the wall graffiti. Was the professor who caught the younger boy really that stupid? No way a kid could do that.
"So?"
Ah, he did respond. Akita looked back to the lad, blinking once. So? Was that all he had to say? It was a bit disappointing. The lass had expected some smart-ass response. She almost hoped for one. Then again she was late and didn't really have time to linger...
"So? Not that crafty. Disappointing." Kyan replied in a dull tone, the amused expression replaced by a small sigh. She switched her bag into her right hand - her left arm tired of being so still - and held the bag over her right shoulder as she turned to continue her way. Ah, but she was distracted once again.
In front of her was a boy, one of her classmates. She knew his name, but other than that she didn't really know him. Wait, what was his name? Fuji-something. Ah, yes, now she remember.
"Fujiwara-san." The green-haired girl said simply, the faintest hint of surprise in her voice. Three high school students on the University campus (and right next to a wall with graffiti on it) couldn't really look good. Kyan tilted her head to the side.
"Interesting." She muttered to herself, tapping her lower lip with her index finger gently.

"So? Not that crafty. Disappointing." Pfft, whatever that was Jack's first thought at the girls remark. He noticed she had changed her focus, and Jack noticed that another boy had arrived, he seemed to be older than Jack, but whatever. Apparently the girl knew him, his name was Fujiwara or something like that, Jack didn't know. And he really didn't care, to Jack he was just another annoying witness, and he didn't like having too many of those. But then again, the kid didn't know what had happened, it was probably a good time to....depart. And besides, probably the best case senario was a teacher came along and busted the other two, and Jack would get away with no punishment. "Well, I'll leave you to alone then. I have better things to do" Jack said, he turned and headed off towards the back of the school, he hopped over the fence easily, he was used to performing stunts like that. He landed on the ground on the other side, and then headed off towards the city, not sure where he was going exactly. |Exit|

"'Magnanimous' means 'noble-spirited', or very generous, kind, or forgiving. For example, 'Agatsuma-sensei would be very magnanimous if he gave us passing marks on our next exam.'" Ren explained to the class, followed shortly by a quiet chuckle as the students nodded in agreement. Agatsuma-sensei sighed and set down his chalk, looking at Ren scornfully. "I am the explainer of terms, Saito-san. Would you like to teach the class?" Agatsuma asked pointedly, expecting it to be rhetorical. Ren smiled simply and replied: "I would be honored, Agatsuma-sensei." The latter shook his head flatly, "Class dismissed for the day. Don't forget, you all have a test tomorrow. Study hard and maybe I will 'magnanimously' pass you..."
A shuffling and scuffling arose from the room as the students either closed their books or woke up and began to shuffle out of the room, Ren being one of them who especially enjoyed getting out of class early. It meant extra time to study before the next class. But where to go? He hadn't been outside in some time, perhaps there would be someplace quiet to sit and read up. Anywhere else he was doomed to run into his friends who would most likely distract him. Wearing the simplistic uniform of the university, Ren trotted down the hall, his long blonde hair up in a loose ponytail bouncing behind him. Perhaps he could sneak a smoke outside as well...
However, coming around a corner Ren was quite surprised to see two younger kids (probably high schoolers) idling around in front of a freshly, and distastefully, grafitied wall. Casting his heavy book-bag to the ground, Ren approached with a mutedly scornful look on his face. However, he did not really wish to get the kids into trouble; perhaps only to warn them to go back to school. Such trouble! When Ren was in high school he would never be permitted to be late for class. Of course, he always wanted to skip - to be bad for once. Perhaps that's why he empathized with the trouble-makers.
"What are you kids doing?" Ren questioned harmlessly, slinking over and putting his hands into his pockets, subconciously jutting out his slender hips as he waited for an answer. His deep blue eyes looked at them with curiousity, and at the grafiti with dismay. Couldn't they think up something more artistic to tag? Anarchy. So very, unoriginal. Ren hoped no one would come around as he looked at the two fondly. 'Kids' he called them, but they were so very close to horrible adulthood at the same time.

It was around the time that the green-haired girl responded to the cocky younger boy, did Zou realize he probably didn't exactly belong there. Still, it wasn't like he'd purposely invaded—he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Jaw moving in a chewing motion to make up for the lack of gum in his mouth, the redhead's gaze raised itself slightly, before landing on the messy red circled A on the wall. Well, color red aside, that was certainly distasteful, and the Hidamari high schooler realize this was likely what the two in front of him had been discussing prior. Still, the seventeen-year-old only blinked at it slowly before quietly staring down at his shoes. Truthfully, neither the girl or the boy struck Zou's memory, so he hadn't the faintest if he'd even seen them before—but when the femme addressed him he raised his head, making direct eye contact with her, but not in a bold way.
Instead, the teen merely stared at her, now not blinking at all, as was his habit—kind of like a cow...only more intelligent—though really, Zou tended to be gentle like one, unless angered. Since that took time, a comparison to a cow it would be. With her saying his name, he'd been nudged by a slightly familiar edge, but the boy with carmine hair could not remember it for the life of him. It was then that the younger male spoke up, causing Zou to shift his attention to the boy's retreating back. "...bye." He murmured quietly, turning his head back to look at the green-haired female. A name, a name...oh, that was it. "Akita-san," he replied, nodding his head in a small greeting. Jaw once more moving in the chewing motion, Zou refocused his attention on the graffiti on the wall. It really did look tasteless, though the redhead knew he couldn't do much about it.
Unsure of his next move, his feet shuffled against the ground uncomfortably; hands shoved in his pockets. However, before the second year upper secondary student could do anything, he found himself distracted by the arrival of another person, as if to make up for the loss of the previous third party. Appraising the uniform and placing an age, Zou was quick to realize the stranger was someone from the university—and in front of a wall with tagging both he and Akita-san looked suspicious. This was made clear by the somewhat scornful look on the university student's face. The carmine-haired boy cocked his head to the side slightly at the older man's question—but in response, Zou could only shrug. "...nothing. Was just...talking to her," he mumbled, shrugging in his classmate's direction. Well, it was true—hell, if he got in trouble for anything, he was just an innocent victim! Then again...the redhead tended to get in trouble more often than it was worth...and every time, he was somewhat of an "innocent victim."
